Mission
Coming together with families to reach and build up children to become followers of Jesus so that they reach their potential to further the kingdom of God.
Values
Kid-Targeted
We will strive to make our ministry totally about kids. This means doing the things kids really enjoy, singing the songs kids want to sing, and to create a place where kids will want to invite friends.
Safe
We want to provide an environment where parents feel safe leaving their kids and also create a place where kids feel emotionally and spiritually safe. Emotional safety means kids will feel supported by both peers and leaders. A spiritually safe place is one in which kids can ask any questions, or feel free to struggle with any tough issue.
Relevant Teaching
Each week we want to provide teachings that are relevant to kids by following these three points:
-KNOW WHAT? Refers to the bible truth we plan on teaching.
-SO WHAT? A bridge that shows the biblical truth and how it applies to specific circumstances kids face.
-NOW WHAT? A clear challenge to apply the lessons into their lives.
Bible Creativity
We want to teach the bible by using creative and interactive teaching styles and tools. Applying creativity to teaching the Bible will help kids “get it” not just “hear it.”
Relationships
It is important for kids to feel that they are worthy to be cared for and invested in. We will accomplish this by providing a community in which the kids can build relationships with their peers and be discipled by leaders.
FUN
Ultimately, we think church should be a place kids love to come to! Kids will most likely be motivated to learn when they are having fun, and more likely to invite friends when it’s fun.
